Recently, I was asked by B-Glowing to review the new Clarisonic Blue Plus Deep Pore Cleansing System. Obviously I was pretty excited about this, as I’ve loved using my Clarisonic so much that I keep naming it one of my favorite products. I use my Clarisonic a few times a week, though I had already been thinking about upgrading. My old Clarisonic had 1 speed and I had the sensitive brush heads. This new one has three speeds, a setting for the body, and a few other heads. Including the new Deep Pore Cleansing brush head.
So, yes, I was excited about this. Read on to learn a little bit more about Clarisonic.
First, obviously the Clarisonic is a facial cleaning system. It is waterproof, so you can easily take it into the shower with you. I wouldn’t recommend submerging it in the tub with you, but it is definitely just fine in the shower. Hit a button and things rotate and sonic vibration happens. Most of the action is actually too fast to see, but it is definitely there. Here’s a little video of the new Deep Pore cleansing head to give you a little bit of an idea.
So, obviously this is just like the SonicCare toothbrush. The little movements that you don’t see are making a huge difference. After using the SonicCare I have noticed that my skin is softer (it lightly exfoliates your skin), my skin tone is more even and I have less obvious pores.
The new Deep Pore Cleansing Head is amazing. It has stiffer bristles than the normal and sensitive heads, so it does exfoliate a little bit more. However, it is still gentle enough to use twice a day. I’ve started using it just a week ago, in the morning, and my pores are definitely even smaller than when I was using the sensitive head. I’ve had no irritation or redness from the slight increase in exfoliation.
If you already own a Clarisonic the Deep Pore Cleansing head will work with any unit.
Love my clarisonic – It's worth every single cent. I need to get the newest head, the rest I already have.
Gawd, I need a Clarisonic. Everyone raves about it. Wish I had the cashflow š
