I thought all Dime Beauty products were safe to use during pregnancy. I called their customer service and they said the night cream contains 0.05% licorice root and is only unsafe if ingested. Since no one is eating the cream, it should be ok. The customer service rep said all of their products are deemed safe during pregnancy. The percentage of ingredients considered “unsafe” in each bottle is very small according to the customer service rep.
Info here about when I disagree with a brand: Why does X Brand say this product is safe but you don’t think it is safe?
And here about what us doctors think about the random “safe %” that you’ll hear about: But what about this % of an ingredient? (it’s not a thing. it’s safe or not safe)

Hi! Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate is listed in the Restorative Night Cream ingredients…I’m assuming you left it because this differs from Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate? Is there a difference? I tried to Google this…somewhere said stearyl glycyrrhetinate can actually be a combo of licorice plant and root combined?

Hi! I love the blue facial oil and I see you’ve marked it safe, yet it has blue tansy which is not pregnancy safe. Can you share what criteria make the blue facial oil safe per your rating? I’d love to continue to you it. Thanks!
You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. Blue Tansy is not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy
