Yes, I still answer questions about product safety! You must follow these guidelines. Any rude comments or those not following the guidelines will be removed. This means full product name, ingredient list, and each product must either be on the proper brand page or the brand list page. I won't accept comments in the wrong spot.

You can check the pregnancy beauty FAQ for many answers. Also check out which makeup and hair products I think you should worry about. Additional info about: perfume, nail polish and sunless tanners

Hi – I’ve been using the naked body oil while pregnant and asked Sarah the owner about it. What do you think about her response? Still steer clear because of the hemp or is what she wrote ok? I actually used it my whole last pregnancy so I’m hoping it was ok.
    From Sarah:
Such a great question, and you’re not the first to ask it! I wish the hemp plant and the marijuana plant had different species names, but they don’t, which can make things very confusing. We get lots of questions from pregnant women and from military personnel, who are worried about hemp causing a positive drug test!

The short answer is that our organic hemp oil is cold-pressed from hemp seeds, which don’t contain THC or CBD. Here are a few references to help elucidate the difference between the marijuana plant, broad-spectrum hemp/cbd, and cold-pressed hemp seed oil (which is what we use at 5% in our body oils).

Hope this helps put your mind at ease, and gets you back to enjoying your body oils
