In regards to the products that include rosemary – becayse higher doses of rosemary may cause miscarriage, pregnant and nursing women should not take rosemary as a supplement. For sure, the COMPLETE
Pre-Wash Scalp Oil is not pregnancy safe.
1- Taking a supplement of rosemary is very different than applying it to your hair in a shampoo. Supplements are massive oral amounts of a single ingredient. The shampoo has a very small amount of topical, which isn’t absorbed at all, there’s a massive difference between the functions of your skin (meant to be a barrier) and the mucosal lining of your GI tract (which is set up to absorb things). This doesn’t even remotely make sense as a correlate.
2- we still say it is ok to eat rosemary while pregnant, which again, is very different than topical in a shampoo.
So, I strongly disagree.
