Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol Serum
Retinoids are Vitamin A derivatives with amazing skin benefits to fight aging and acne. They improve skin turnover, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, evening out skin tone and creating a smoother skin texture. Unfortunately, they’re also known to be irritating. I have sensitive skin due to my Rosacea, and most retinoids, even in small amounts, create enough redness that I can’t use them.
Kiehl’s Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol Serum is my go-to retinoid for a reason! This has an effective retinoid that gives me all the skin benefits I’m looking for, but without any of the irritation. Even with my sensitive skin. The secret is the micro-dose used in the lotion, it’s just enough to be effective without any irritation. I can use it nightly without any redness.
One quick note about this product, while it is named “Serum”, I think that’s a better description of its purpose. Use it like a serum, right after you wash your face and follow with a moisturizer if you need more hydration. But the texture is more like a light lotion, it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on your face and it sinks in right away.
Rare Earth Deep Pore Minimizing Cleansing Clay Mask
This has been my favorite mud mask for years! It does an amazing job of getting everything out of my pores, leaving my skin looking much clearer, my skin is smoother and my pores look smaller. It even cuts down on oil production after use. I go through about 1 tub of this mask a season, so you can bet it’s something that I stock up on during the sale!
Ultra Facial Cream
This cream is used by my entire family for a reason! This is the perfect amount of hydration for your skin, it doesn’t really matter what time of year or what your skin type. It’s gentle, sinks in right away, and doesn’t feel heavy at all. All 4 of us in my house use it, so there are tubs of it in various bathrooms (and travel toiletry kits) all around the house! I’ve recommended it to friends and family for years. I stock up in the Kiehl’s Friend and Family sale every year.
