Pregnancy Safe Skincare from Amazon

For a few years now, one of the biggest requests my readers have had is to share pregnancy safe skincare products from Amazon. I get it, I’m a huge fan of Amazon (they deliver to my house almost daily), the convenience is amazing! I think what many people may not realize is that they have one of the biggest beauty brand selections out there. They hit all price points and include products that you would find at your local drugstore, more exclusive beauty focused stores, department stores and even hard to find products from Korean skincare brands.

Today I’m sharing some pregnancy and nursing safe products from Amazon. I’ve screened their ingredients as of 10/6/2024. Note, this is just a very small selection of what you can find on Amazon for pregnancy and nursing safe products, but I’ve pulled together a decent selection here to make it easy to find products that work for you.

When selecting products for a pregnancy/nursing skincare routine, I tend to go for gentle, hydrating products. Since skin is more reactive during pregnancy (mine certainly was!) I also try to avoid a lot of extracts. For the products below, I’m offering more details on my favorites (bolded).

Cleanser

I love very gentle, hydrating cleansers. I want a gentle foam (purely because I like foam), I want my makeup to come off easily, and I don’t want my skin to be stripped of moisture. I tend to go for the classic Dermatologist picks from CeraVe and Cetaphil. So many options out there, and there’s a reason these 2 rise to the top after all this time! I love that I can also use them on my eyes to remove eye makeup.

If I have stubborn waterproof products on, then I’d reach for a Micellar Water. I’ve really loved the options from both Avene and CeraVe, they take everything off and are no nonsense.

Toner

I fully admit that I’m not usually a toner person, but that might be a product of growing up in the 80’s with toners so harsh they could burn your face off! They’re now a great way to prep the face for subsequent skincare steps, full of active ingredients like Vitamin C.

• Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream: This is my family’s favorite for body lotion. We use it year round by the tub! It does need to be rubbed in a bit, but it is super hydrating, gentle and is a dermatologist favorite.
• Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion
• Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré: The French cult favorite! It was almost impossible to find for ages, and when Amazon started carrying most of the line I admit I bought a lot of it! This creme is frequently found backstage at fashion week because it is super hydrating and sinks into the skin quickly, perfectly prepping your skin for makeup.

• HARUHARU Wonder Black Rice Cream

Sunscreen

• Aveeno Kids Continuous Protection Zinc Oxide Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50: This is the body sunscreen that I used for both of my pregnancies. This is slightly updated since then as Aveeno does update their formulas. In general, Aveeno has a couple of pregnancy safe options always!
• Babo Botanicals Daily Sheer Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion SPF40
• Belli Skincare Pure Radiance Sunscreen SPF 30
• Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide Dry-Touch Face Sunscreen SPF 50
• Onekind Solardrops SPF 55
• Vanicream Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30: This is my current pregnancy safe pick. It’s very hydrating and gentle, but preps skin really nicely for makeup so you can wear it every day.

Masks
