Holiday Shopping with Bluemercury at The Holiday Shopping Party

bluemercury product picks

Today I’m prepping a major buy from my favorite store for luxury beauty products! Bluemercury’s Holiday Shopping Party starts today, and you can save up to 30% on some of the most luxe brands and professional skincare items.

Things to Know:
• The more you spend, the more you’ll save! Get 20% off $200, 25% off $800, 30% off $1500
• There are some brands that are excluded or capped at 15-20% off. You’ll see products marked appropriately on the Bluemercury website. I’m only featuring products included in the up to 30% off here, but you should know I’ll still be stocking up on my current mascara obsession, Victoria Beckham Vast Lash, which is excluded from the Holiday Shopping Party. It’s a volumizing tubing mascara that doesn’t clump or smudge and washes off easily. I have 2 in  my cart right now!

Skincare

SkinMedica TNS Eye Repair: I’ve been using this eye cream for about 10 years, and it’s definitely the reason my outer eye is so smooth! I’ve tried using other products (mostly for blog product reviews), but within a few weeks of switching away I can see fine lines starting. So, I go back! One jar lasts about 4-5 months, so I’ll buy a couple for the next year.
Crème de La Mer: I must have fancy skin, because as my skin aged and got a bit drier, I had a really hard time finding a moisturizer that helped keep my skin hydrated all day long without making me break out. Until I tried La Mer. My skin loves it! This is the last step in my nightly skincare routine, I only need a tiny amount to help “seal” in all of my other products. I use about 5 ounces a year, so I’ll be stocking up accordingly.
La Mer The Eye Concentrate: As I’ve gotten older, it really has become very obvious that the key to good makeup with more mature skin is the prep! This eye cream has been a game changer for me in the morning. It packs a huge punch when it comes to hydration, but it doesn’t leave behind any residue to mess with your makeup.

Makeup

A lot of the makeup that I use daily is from either Sisley or Chantecaille. Both brands are really hard to find at a discount, so this is an amazing time to stock up! Most of my favorites from Chantecaille are from previous collections, but I’ve now reached the point that when they release something new, I order all of it. Immediately.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Cernes Eclat Eye Concealer: This is like a corrector and medium to full coverage concealer in 1 step, due to the slightly peach tone. It isn’t drying, but can be a little thick. I’ve found that with a good eye cream underneath and a light touch, this concealer is a great way to save a step in application without having caking issues later.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Hydra Teint Tinted Moisturizer: My favorite tinted moisturizer! I apply over a serum in the morning (I use this one from Victoria Beckham, it isn’t included in the Holiday Shopping Party), and it is just the right amount of hydration for my slightly dry skin. It offers a light coverage that looks like my skin but better, not like I have a lot of makeup on.
Sisley Paris Phyto-Rouge Shine: I have a couple of the Phyto-Rouge Shines, and they’re all very pretty and feel good on my lips. The Sheer Beverly Hills is my favorite, a very flattering pinky-peach! I leave one sitting on my computer desk in case I need a touch up for a zoom meeting.
Sisley Paris L’Orchidée Blush in L’Orchidée Rose: My current go-to blush. It’s a really pretty pink color and has a little bit of shimmer, which I love.
Chantecaille Lip Veil: These are some of my favorite lippies! A hydrating and slightly sheer lipstick that is always flattering. I think I have every shade, and usually 2-3 limited editions come out with each of the collection. Wild Senna from the Cheetah collection is so good I’ll be buying a back up.
Chantecaille Cheetah Eye Shadow Trio: This is from the fall collection, a super flattering and neutral trio that you can wear every day or smoke out a bit for night. I also have the trios from the previous Sea Turtle collection, which I love. I can’t wait to see what they release next!

Haircare

Sisley Paris Volumizing Spray: I started using this after I read some (probably fake) report somewhere that Jennifer Aniston uses it. I’ve continued to use it (I’m likely on bottle 5 or 6 by now) because it’s pretty amazing. I spray a little bit in the roots of my hair when it’s damp, and that’s it. It gives my hair just a little extra volume, but you can’t feel anything in there. I love that it counteracts the weight of my long hair without making my hair sticky.
Sisley Paris Le Baume Restructurant Nourrissant: This is an oily balm that feels like it should actually be a face cleanser, step one of a double cleanse. Instead, it’s a very intense hair treatment! I’ve found that you can’t overdo it, I’ve even left this treatment in my hair overnight. Just spread throughout your hair and wash out later.
Sisley Paris Precious Hair Care Oil: I love this hair oil for added shine and smoothing of frizz.
Oribe Superfine Hair Spray: My go-to hair spray for curls that last for days! I’ll be stocking up on the regular and travel sized bottles.
Oribe Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray: When I make those curls, sometimes I do need to add in a little bit of texture for added hold. Après Beach smells great, adds shine and doesn’t feel sticky.

Gifts

Manucurist Active Essential Trio: I’ve tried all of their products, and I love that they’re 1 product for “your nails but better” with a little boost in shine or shimmer. When I’m home doing normal things, it lasts 5-7 days easily. Frequent hand gel at work (before and after each patient) brings that down by a day or two for weeks that I’m working, but it’s still super easy to apply a coat and just be done.
Osea Undaria Body Bestsellers: I love the Body Lotion and Body Oil, but I would also add in an Osea Salts of the Earth Body Scrub for an amazing trio! They’re all super pampering, smell botanical, like they should be in a very expensive spa somewhere. Great to give to your mom or favorite cousin.
Nest Holiday Classic Candle & Diffuser Set: I love to have a couple of candles on hand to give as gifts, and this set is likely the one I’ll go with this year. I love the look, Nest candles always smell amazing, and I love the idea of a matching diffuser for added scent.
