Makeup Basics: Splurge vs Steal Products

Today for Makeup Wars we are sharing our favorite splurges and steals. I thought that rather than just showcasing a few items that are dupes, I would do something that a lot of readers have asked for via email lately, create a couple of complete makeup kits!

Here’s a peek at how I would create these kits, I’m going for a fairly neutral look, but with a fun, bright pink lip. In real life, I use a combination of products from each of these price points. When applying, note that I apply products in the order that I’ve listed them here, and I usually require 2 color correctors (green for any redness, pink/peach for undereye circles), though I don’t have a luxe version of the green.
