My Favorite Beauty Tools: Great Tools for Hair and Skin

The best beauty tools for hair and skin

1. JeNu Ultrasonic Infuser
I’ve only recently started using this tool, but it seems pretty amazing! It is ultrasound and helps your skincare penetrate deeper into the skin, making it more effective.

2. Clarisonic
Yes, a Clarisonic brush really is worth it! I use a Mia2, but this is the intro level Mia. Which yes, is under $100. If you don’t have one, go buy one!

3. Silk’n Flash&Go Freedom Hair Removal
You really can use this to remove hair at home (check out my Silk’n Flash&Go review). I’ve used 2 versions from Silk’n, and while it takes much longer to get results than professional hair removal (which I’m currently doing), the convenience of at home can’t be beat, and the cost is much, much lower. I still have my Flash&Go, I’m planning to use it for any minor touch ups that I might need after all of my professional sessions.

4. Tria Age-Defying Laser
If you want a new way to target hyperpigmentation or fine lines and wrinkles, this might be a great option for you. Don’t forget to check out my Tria Age-Defying Laser Review.

5. T3 Curling Wands
I’m obsessed! This is my favorite way to get loose beachy waves currently. I’m mostly using my large straight barrel, but I also love the look created by the tapered barrel.

6. T3 PROi Professional Hair Dryer
Yes, it really is worth it to have an expensive hair dryer. This one is faster than my old one and gives me much more volume.

7. Voloom
This hair crimper can be used to add volume to your hair just where you want it. You crimp the under layers of your hair so the crimp is hidden, and it lasts much longer (and is more effective) than styling products such as root sprays and mousse.

8. BeachWaver Curling Iron
This is my beloved twirling curling iron! You can set the temperature, it curls 2 different directions and I love that the barrel is longer than normal, perfect for my super long hair. Here’s my BeachWaver curling iron review.

9. Ferrum Flat Iron
One of the reasons that I don’t really flat iron my hair very often is how really, truly flat it makes my hair! No volume. The Ferrum is different! Instead of 2 heated plates, there is 1 heated plate facing a felt pad. The heated plate smoothes and straightens your hair, but having it just on the outer part of the hair instead of both sides really helps to maintain volume.
