Hi. This wasnt very clear if Dr Brandt pores no more Pore Purifying Cleanser is safe while pregnant. I have read that salicylic acid is safe to use 2x a day if less than 2%. I’d appreciate a response, confirming if the product is safe.

On my site I’ve been very clear that there is no amount of Salicylic Acid that is considered safe, which is why products with Salicylic Acid are listed under not safe for pregnancy throughout the entire site. At no time have I stated that they are safe.

The Dr. Brandt Dark Spots No More on Sephora’s website it says it has azaleaic, TXA, and phytic acid – which are all ok corrrct? But in the Dr Brandt website, it’s a new bottle (yellow) and the ingredients list retinol and backuchiol? Which are not ok?
You’re right! They definitely revised it. My link to the Dr. Brandt site says that page isn’t there any more, the safe version is still available at Sephora and Dermstore.
So, I just had to redo the entire list. The frequency with which Dr Brandt actually stops making most of their line and comes out with new products confuses me. But they revised or cancelled almost everything. Items that are out in multiple forms are labelled either new/old or white bottle/yellow bottle, and things are linked correctly. I had to remove most of the list because they’re no longer available. Let me know if I missed anything! There were some new things on Dr. Brandt’s site only that didn’t have ingredient lists, so I couldn’t review them.
The good news is that just like Sephora, when a formulation change occurs, Brandt is putting the new version on a different page. So my links break, and I’m not linking inadvertently to the new product.
