Hello Dr. I hope all is well. I wanted to thank you for creating this site, it has been extremely helpful for me over the past years. I’m wondering if you could advise with regards to a slightly different product. It’s called nixxit, it’s a nail formula to help kids stop biting nails or putting their fingers in their mouth. Would the following ingredients be safe for a three year old… Water, Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycereth-2 Cocoate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Denatonium Benzoate. I used it a few times but I felt uneasy about it and so I decided to seek advice from a local pharmacy, when I asked a pharmacist near my home, they could not provide any insight, they were not familiar with the ingredients. I’m hoping you might be able to educate with regards to these ingredients. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post. Have a great day!

I don’t see this product under the list of safe products for use in pregnancy on the Burt’s bees post – am I correct it should not be used as it is not listed under the safe category? Or is the contact to the skin minimal and ok for use (I don’t see it under the not safe list either, however I recall you advising that sometimes the list is too long and so you only list the safe products) thanks!

What I dont like about these products is the tin. Opening the tin spoils my painted nail tips. I prefer screw-top jars instead.
