You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. It’s not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community, I’ve seen that ingredient used in pregnant and nursing patients. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy. Having said that, I’ve debated about putting the ingredient on my avoid list, but it’s because of this guy, not because of any studies. If it makes you uncomfortable, I would certainly just avoid it on my own.
