Oh no! Thanks for spotting it. I’ve moved it to the right spot.

However when I reviewed the ingredients, it says it is not due to licorice root: “Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate” See ingredients below:

Water/Aqua/Eau, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Potassium Olivoyl Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Ceramide NP, Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate, Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Squalane, Dunaliella Salina Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Tocopherol, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Bisabolol, Betaine, Panthenol, Ceteareth-20, Polyisobutene, Glyceryl Oleate, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Polysorbate 20, Sorbitan Isostearate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polyacrylate-13, Sucrose Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Caprylyl Glycol, Benzyl Alcohol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid.

I used to use the ultra light moisturizer but it was on the not safe for pregnancy list, so I stopped. Was this updated recently?
Thanks!

I wrote that a few years ago, and you’ll notice I’m not currently screening them out. I’ve talked to other physicians and they feel the risks are minimal given the half life of the chemicals (the natural correlates last at the most seconds in our bodies), and that they feel the chemicals stay pretty local. I’m still wondering how long they really last and I’m not sure how far they do travel, but I haven’t started screening these chemicals out.

The alastin restorative skin complex has many peptides in it. Would you classify these as “safe” or what you would “be cautious of” as stated in your other post? Thank you. 🙂

you wrote: “Things I have some concerns about, but I’m not currently screening out
There are some ingredients that I don’t have enough information about to currently screen out, but I’m a bit leery of and I occasionally look into them to see if I need to start screening them out.

• Neuropeptides: These are ingredients that are said to work like “botox in a bottle” and are known to absorb into the skin in order to work. It isn’t a big leap to say they’re likely circulated throughout the body, and who knows how it would affect a baby?”

I am curious to get your thoughts on the ingredient “Plankton Extract.” I noticed it is in the ingredient list for a new Alastin product, the A-Illuminate. is that ingredient ok to use in pregnancy?
