You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. It’s not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community (it sits on the surface of the skin). My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it’s here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy

Hello, this has dimethicone which is considered unsafe for pregnancy. Are you sure it is,safe?

Palmer’s is difficult because they actually have different versions of the same products out there. Their classic massage cream (the one you mention) usually has the Benzyl Salicylate you mentioned. I actually redid most of this list a few months ago, and noticed that it doesn’t appear in the ingredients on the brand site (I have to look at the packaging images and read those ingredient lists), or at the stores. But I was at the store that day (my local Walmart) and checked there because I was concerned (in the past this ingredient list has gone back and forth with salicylate if you look in the comments, there’s also a bunch of emails from readers about it). The packaging at my store still said salicylate. So, I left the product labeled as it was. I’m not sure what product you would get if it was ordered online. I would personally purchase it in person so you can check the direct packaging of your product. But, you’re not crazy! Sometimes it isn’t there! And sometimes it is. It’s overall a little maddening lol

I wanna confirm if I missed the ingredient name (I was looking for “Benzyl Salicylate” OR have the links/formula been updated so the product is pregnancy safe now?
