You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn’t based on much. It’s not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community. I am currently looking for Neutrogena products that are safe to use during pregnancy. While reviewing the information on your page, I came across a concern about skincare products containing phenoxyethanol. I’ve read materials stating that phenoxyethanol should not be ingested, as the FDA advises it can be toxic and hazardous to newborns, potentially causing central nervous system depression, diarrhea, or vomiting.
Given this, I noticed that many of the products you recommend as safe for pregnancy still include this ingredient. Could you please clarify whether it is safe for topical use during pregnancy?
