In reply to Fiona. Yes, it's a silicone. But it's also thought to not be absorbed. You can pretty much find info out there about avoiding everything possible, much of which isn't based on much. It's not considered an ingredient to avoid by the medical community. My list of ingredients that I screen out is very conservative and it's here: skincare ingredients to avoid during pregnancy.
