In reply to Arular. It's fine, it's just on your hair and your hair can't absorb anything. Same goes for most styling products (pretty much just root sprays touch the scalp) and conditioners and treatment products.

In reply to Margaret. I use the Kate Somerville for day as well, the retinoid one I just only use at night. I have a post with Kate Somerville pregnancy safety here, but I think the peptide serum and eye cream would be the only ones? I don't remember off hand, I'm sorry!

Great post, thank you! Are the Kate Somerville products you mentioned pregnancy safe (except for the one with retinoids of course)?

Also, I am about 14 weeks along and my facial skin is getting drier (I was combo before). Do you have a safe recommendation for a daytime face cream? I notice you didn’t mention the one you use in your post.
