In reply to Sophie. It's not something that's considered unsafe by physicians, the info that's out there isn't strong enough to make it one we recommend avoiding. Having said that, there's enough stuff going on now that if it makes you nervous I would just avoid it anyways.

A lot of the products you recommend contain Phenoxyethanol, including Strivectin-Sd-Advanced. Do you think Phenoxyethanol is safe during pregnancy and nursing? I googled about it and some say it would cause central nervous system damage in exposed infants. I don’t know what to do. It seems that nothing is safe… I would love to hear your advice.

In reply to Heather. The comment is with regards to the Bioderma product she was listing, not the StriVectin. The StriVectin is fine for both nursing and pregnancy.

Is this cream safe while nursing? I noticed the post said it is pregnancy friendly but your comment above advised against using it during pregnancy so I’m a little confused on where it would leave someone breastfeeding.
