Cyber Monday at ULTA Beauty and Shark Beauty Review

Now that Cyber Monday is here, ULTA Beauty has somehow managed to make their Black Friday Event even better. The available offers have shifted a bit, and there are new brands included, deeper discounts on items you want, such as 50% off most Urban Decay eye products and a ton of amazing palettes from other brands.

You’ll still earn points for the Ulta Beauty Rewards Program, and if you want your items the same day of purchase you can use either same day delivery or the purchase online and pick up in store option. Both options are a great way to avoid most of the crowds while shopping but still take advantage of the amazing discounts!

For Cyber Monday, here are the best discounts that I’ll be taking advantage of:

Eye Favorites

You’ll find amazing discounts on cult favorite eye products! There are a ton of palettes that are 50% off, and the eye selections from some brands are 30-50% off.

• MAC 30% off eye: My pick is definitely the Pro Longwear Paint Pot Cream Eyeshadow, which I use almost every day in Painterly as a primer.
• Urban Decay 50% off eye: I’ll be grabbing both the Naked2 Basics Palette and Naked3 Mini Palette so I can keep them in my travel makeup bag this winter. They both have so many looks that can be created with them, but they’re small and easy to travel with. The 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil, Primer Potion and Perversion Mascara are also included.
• Shadow Palettes: So many other brands are included. I have both the Natasha Denona I Need a Warm Palette and Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Clay Palette in my cart now.

Heated Hair Styling Tools

Cyber Monday is definitely the best day for finding a great deal on a heated hair styling tool! The have deals on a lot of my favorites, including 2 that I recently bought (more on those below).

• T3: The entire brand is 30% off, including my T3 Switch Kit Classic Trio, which I’ve loved for years! I love the versatility of the different curling irons and sizes but with less storage space. I just swap out the head of the curling iron for a different look.

• Shark Beauty SmoothStyle Heated Comb & Blow Dryer Brush: First, the Shark SmoothStyle is a hair drying brush. I know… I own a lot of them, and I think I’ve reviewed all of them. The dryer portion of the SmoothStyle is one of the more powerful dryers of this type, so it cuts down quite a bit on my drying time. What sets this drying brush apart is that black/pink thing on the side. It is really a 2 in 1 because that’s a heated smoothing comb! It heats up, and you just brush it through your hair to straighten.

I bought the SmoothStyle for travel. Having the ability to bring 2 tools with me, but without taking up extra space, is a big deal! I do have a similar heated smoothing comb at home, and it’s perfect for either a quick touch up or for straightening my hair on wash day. I have used the SmoothStyle to dry my hair a few times now, and it is one of the fastest hair drying brushes I’ve tried. It has 2 different drying levels, and it’s really easy to toggle between the dryer and heated smoothing brush. Shark Beauty has up to 30% off select products, and the SmoothStyle is included.

• Hot Tools Pro Artist 24K Gold Collection Extended Barrel Curling Iron : This curling iron is 30% off, and it comes in 6 different widths. I bought the 2″ version, a size I’ve wanted for a long time! I’m planning to use it to fake a round brush blow out. The barrel is also a bit longer than  most other curling irons (great for those of us with really long hair). The heat control is on a dial, so you can really customize the temperature. Hot Tools products are really high quality and can take a beating. There’s a good reason they’re highly recommended by hair stylists!

• Redken One United Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray: Don’t forget to grab a good heat protectant if you’re buying so many heat styling tools! This is my favorite, because One United has a lot of other benefits as well. Redken styling products are 30% off.
