Today for Makeup Wars we’re sharing our favorite at home spa treatments, and I have to confess that right now my favorite is more of an at home salon treatment. Because that Kérastase Fusio-Dose hair treatment that I shared a few months ago? The one I told you to run to your salon to get one? You can buy it for home now. This is a game changer for me.
You might remember that I got a perm last year (yes, I really did) and while it added great texture and a bit of wave to my hair, when combined with some blonder highlights, it was damage city. I’ve been masking up a storm and getting in salon Fusio-Dose treatments, but about 7-10 days after my salon visit the effects were mostly gone.
So, it turns out that years ago, Kérastase offered the Fusio-Dose in a take home kit. And then they didn’t. But, they do again! The Fusio-Dose Hair Lab is available only in salons. My kit was customized by my stylist for treating my hair’s particular issues, which I love!
The kit is super easy to use. Pop the top off of the glass bottle, pour in the booster, then close with the spray pump and shake to mix well. You spray it on your hair between shampoo and conditioner, it only needs a few minutes. When you rinse it out of your hair, it is amazing how much of a transformation has occurred! Fusio-Dose makes a big difference in my hair’s moisture, health and how much breakage I have.
My box of four treatments was $100 at my salon, where they charge $30 for the in salon treatment. So, it is slightly cheaper than in the salon. I’ve been using it mid-way between salon appointments, to help keep my hair as healthy as possible.
