Oribe Apres Beach Spray is one of those beauty products that I heard about for years before I finally splurged on it. And it is soooooo worth it! I even included it in my post on my favorite products from Oribe.
What does this stuff do? It does just about anything I want to my hair. Since I’ve mostly been wearing my hair curled/wavy, Apres Beach is my secret weapon.
At baseline my hair is very fine and silky, even after my perm last fall it’s hard for my hair to hold curl for more than about 2 days. If I spray a light mist of Apres Beach into my hair first, it gives my hair just enough texture that it hold those curls for another day at least, and they look a lot better.
Apres Beach is also great for reviving my hair. I usually go about 3-4 days in between hair washings (more frequent hair washing dries out my scalp and my eczema flares up). So a good dry shampoo (here are some great dry shampoos) and Apres Beach are life savers!
To revive my hair, I spray a bit of dry shampoo in my hair and then put it up in a quick bun before hopping in the shower. It stays up while I’m putting on my makeup and getting ready. At the very end I pull out that high bun and brush out my hair, the dry shampoo and time in the bun have given my hair a ton of volume. I spray a bit of Apres Beach through the ends, scrunching up a bit as I go. It adds a bit more wave and adds just enough shine to counteract that dry shampoo. I’m ready for the day!
Apres Beach is one of those products that I can’t travel without, I buy little travel sized cans of it when I find a deal.
You can buy it from BirchBox, Nordstrom, or Amazon
I’m a fan of so many Oribe things! I haven’t tried this one yet but it sounds so amazing!
If it makes your hair as beautiful as your picture then we all need this.
I have been a huge fan of Oribe for years, but I haven’t tried this products! Now I want to try this!
I’ve had great results with applying Apres Beach to lengths/ends before putting in hot rollers – it makes the curls soft and smooth and helps them stay longer. I don’t recommend it before flat irons or curling irons though – it gets sticky and crunchy.
Wow, this sounds like a really good product. I’ve never heard of them!
