Please where do you see the chemical filters ? Because I don’t see any SALICYLATE and it has no fragrance .In the packaging and even on their site they said it’s 100% mineral and it contains no chemical filters

Whatever this list is that you posted here, this product is NOT the same as the first product, and it is safe for pregnancy.
In the previous list you posted these are the chemical filters: Octocrylene, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Note, I didn’t mention anything about Salicylates for that product.

Bakuchiol is derived from the psoralea corylifolia plant, and is a powerful antioxidant. And like retinol helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike retinol though, it has no adverse side effects on skin. And because it’s entirely unrelated to vitamin A, it’s safe for pregnant women and those breastfeeding.
It’s not entirely unrelated to Vitamin A, it acts through the exact same retinoid receptor. It has the EXACT same mechanism of action. But somehow everyone says it’s safe, because no one has found that it’s unsafe? That makes absolutely no sense. If it’s working through the same receptor, there’s a pretty good chance it has the same other effects as well. This is also true of Bidens Pilosa. Just because something is derived from a plant doesn’t mean it’s safe.

Is there a particular mineral sunscreen powder you would recommend – any brand?
It’s a powder so you don’t need to worry about it actually.
I’m not a fan of powder sunscreens. They provide false reassurance, you need so much product to actually reach the stated SPF value, and no one uses that. The most you’d add with a normal usage is about 2-3 SPF points.
Thank you! I use the tinted Elta MD on my face and the Pure Elta MD on my body but I teach PE so I’m outside a lot and it’s hard to reapply over my face with make up. Is there a product you would recommend to reapply throughout the day over make up?
I honestly reapply with either my original sunscreen, or do a spray. It’s not ideal, but you’re much more likely to apply enough to make it worth while. I also like sticks on the face, though not over makeup.
