In the past I’ve stated I’m a little unsure about the idea of blood products in a topical skincare product. Exosomes are fine (they’re nothing new, most brands call them liposomes), but most brands make them instead of getting them from a blood product. But after reading more about the brand, I think it’s likely fine.

Hi! I just bought Plated intense from my derm and I’m excited to try but was wondering why on their own site they say they can’t guarantee the safety of their products in pregnancy. I’m assuming this is really just a matter of the testing will never be done for ethical reasons, just like most other products. But wanted to double check especially since other companies like skinmedica with their TNS A+ serum will come right out and say it’s pregnancy safe. By the way I noticed you moved that one to your non safe list during pregnancy so I haven’t been using it and that’s why I wanted to try the Plated. Thank you!
