I think hemp/CBD/Cannabis products should be avoided during pregnancy. Here’s my reasoning:
There isn’t info out there on the safety of Cannabis used topically during pregnancy or nursing. We do know smoking marijuana with THC has bad effects and should be avoided, though it hasn’t been fully decided if it is just the THC or something else as well. Note Hemp does not have THC in it, it’s breed out of the plant basically (though there are hemp and CBD products that still test positive for THC). But there are still the unknowns we haven’t decided about. I would not recommend using Hemp or Cannabis products while nursing or pregnant for that reason.

This has licorice root that I wouldn’t use while pregnant, but it is ok fo nursing. I was surprised when they d/c’d this product, it’s kind of their signature, I thought?
Thank you! I think the youthmud mask is a signature but maybe not this cleanser. Maybe they’ll bring it back, though, which would be great because I love it!
I thought it was the whole YouthMud line, but yes, the mask is their signature even more! I wouldn’t be surprised to see it make Limited Edition appearances for holidays and such!

I would avoid this due to all of the hydroxy acids (glycolic, salicylic, tartaric) as well as the salicylate (willow bark extract). EDTA, phalates and even parabens have enough evidence of safety that the medical community doesn’t recommend avoiding them.
