I love your list! Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy day to investigate and report back on these lists!
I’m 20 weeks pregnant and from what I’ve read hyraluronic acid is safe but Sodium Hyaluronate hasn’t been studied as well. If I’m correctly understanding the difference between the two, the latter is smaller so it csn be absorbed better by your skin. I’m afraid to use it because it doesn’t appear to be categorized as safe yet. But I can’t find any products with just hyaluronic acid, so I’ve been using bioessence and my face looks like a road map, in just 4 short months. I need a product for hydration and fine lines that is proven to be pregnancy safe. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you for your help!
Very few things are technically studied in pregnancy because the correct studies to do are actually unethical to perform. Sodium hyaluronate is the same thing as hyaluronic acid except you’ve replaced a hydrogen with a sodium, they then can form long chains and group themselves together. They’re pretty much interchangeable and aren’t considered to be different. They’re already found in your skin as well as many other parts of your body, so should be fine in pregnancy. Hi, would you consider all CoEnzyme Q10 products safe to use in pregnancy and nursing? This doesn’t say the percentage but I’m curious if 0.5% is ok?
That ingredient is fine, but I wouldn’t comment that all products with it are safe given I don’t know other ingredients in those products.
