One of my favorite benefits of the Sephora Beauty Insider Program (more about that here) is access to the Sephora Spring Savings Event, where you can receive up to 20% off every product, based on your Beauty Insider Tier! Your discount depends upon your Beauty Insider Tier, 20% for Rouge, 15% for VIB and 10% for Insiders (all need to use the code SPRINGSAVE at checkout). The event starts 4/17 for Rouge, 4/21 for VIB and all tiers get access on 4/23.
I usually start working on my cart before the event starts and make a big purchase on the first day, but I admit that this process usually backfires on me because then I can’t help myself and I end up looking at cool new products, adding those to my cart… and yes, I end up with another one (or two) purchases. Here’s a look at what is in my cart currently.

My Favorites
Kerastase Resistance Length Strengthening Shampoo and Kerastase Resistance Conditioner for Damaged Hair are my daily go-to favorite products for washing my hair, especially now that I’m washing my hair so much more often (I’ve gone from every 2-3 days to daily the moment I get home from work at the hospital). My hair gets damaged from heat styling, and this duo makes a huge difference in how much breakage I experience! If I switch to something else, I can tell within 2-3 washings, my breakage picks right back up. So, I stock up for 6 months during the Sephora Savings Events.
Kerastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum is a product I love to use at night on my hair to add moisture and combat my damaged hair. It feels like a light lotion, I just rub a small amount (about the size of a dime) through my hair before bed. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t get all over my pillow. The next morning my hair just looks healthier.
Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3: I think everyone knows (or should know) what this is by now. This miracle lotion will restore the disulfide bonds in your hair, reducing breakage without weighing down your hair. I like to use this every few weeks, though I should use it more often. It doesn’t weigh down hair at all, which I love!
Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil: This is my current favorite hair oil for finishing my styling process. Just a few drops on my hands, then I rub them over my hair to add shine and reduce any frizz and fly aways.
Recent Finds
Drybar The Double Shot Blow-Dryer Brush: I’ve mentioned this blow dryer before, but it’s worth mentioning again. I have long and thick hair, and I’ve tried similar (lower priced) drying brushes. This is the best one by far, because it actually dries my hair! The others really didn’t do that at all. This lets me do a semi-professional blow out at home in under 20 minutes, something I’ve never managed before.
Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler: I have to admit, this product isn’t even mine. My 9 year old stole it from me, we’ve been spraying it on her wet hair at night and letting it air dry. Her hair tangles much less and looks more tamed when we’ve used Prep Rally in her hair. We’ve tried a huge number of other products in her hair, this is finally one that works!
Drybar Jump Start Quick Dry Blowout Serum: This product really cuts down on my blow drying time!
Drybar Southern Belle Volume-Boosting Root Lifter: I have 2 cans of this stuff in my cart right now! I spray a bit on my roots before I dry my hair, and the result is bigger volume that doesn’t feel gross or make it harder to dry my hair. Definitely my favorite root boosting product!
Drybar The Chaser High-Shine Finishing Cream: Another great option for after I finish drying my hair, my hair looks much more professionally styled after this.
IGK Offline 3-Minute Hydration Hair Mask: I’m loving this quick and easy hair mask, I just swap it out for my regular hair conditioner once a week or so.
I Want To Try
Kerastase Genesis Scalp Serum: This hair and scalp serum is meant to make hair softer and improve breakage. It sounds like a great product to add into my ever evolving collection of products to fight hair damage.
Playa California Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo: I love the idea of taking better care of my scalp, but I have to admit the idea of a scrub makes me wonder if it can be easily washed out. I’ve had good luck with Playa’s products in the past, so this is the one I’ll try first.

My skincare routine is flexible. While I have products I reach for almost every day, I try to pay attention to my skin’s condition each day and adapt my product choices based upon how my skin is doing that day, how long it’s been since I used something, etc. So, I have a pretty big variety of products that I keep on hand and in my medicine cabinet for frequent use.
My Favorites
Kiehl’s Since 1851 Midnight Recovery Concentrate is my favorite face oil. I use this almost every night in the winter, a few drops under a regular moisturizer really helps to super hydrate my skin.
Kiehl’s Since 1851 Super Fluid Daily UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50+: This is my family’s go-to sunscreen in the summer. It is very easy to spread around, and once my girls tried it, they were ruined for all other sunscreens. I stock up when it goes on sale.
Kate Somerville Age Arrest Anti-Wrinkle Cream: One of my favorite anti-aging creams, this is my normal nightly cream.
Kate Somerville Line Release Under Eye Repair Cream: This is my normal anti-aging eye cream
Summer Fridays Super Amino Gel Cleanser: This is my new daily go-to face wash. It takes everything off, has a fresh scent and does not irritate my sensitive skin. I love to use it with my Clarisonic (another great thing to pick up during this event).

Tatcha The Water Cream: Limited Edition Value Size : When I want a little extra hydration in the morning, but need something that preps my skin for makeup, this is my go-to product. It’s currently available in a bigger sized and super cute jar!
Youth to the People Yerba Mate Resurfacing + Exfoliating Energy Facial with Enzymes is the perfect gentle exfoliator for my sensitive skin. I love to use it in the shower a few times a week.
I Want To Try
Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum: This serum promises to help prep your skin for makeup, it has Diamond Mineral Powder to add a little glow, and it even helps your skin stay matte throughout the day.

IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara: Be careful with this one, I swear it has caused so many smudges on the inside of my glasses…
IT Cosmetics Brow PowerFULL: Brows are super important when wearing a mask, and my favorite brow pencil now comes in a bigger, fuller size. This pencil makes it easy to get perfect brows in no time flat!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder: This powder is lightweight and sets my makeup without caking mid-day.
NARS Blush in Orgasm: For years this has been my go-to blush shade.
NARS Afterglow Lip Balm, I own this one in all of the shades, but Fast Lane is my favorite. I use the untinted version a lot as well.

Urban Decay Stay Naked Weightless Foundation: It blends beautifully, lasts all day and doesn’t cake at mid-day. This is one of my favorites to recommend! If you haven’t tried it yet (or the matching concealer), it is worth buying the next time you need foundation!

Tatcha The Liquid Silk Canvas: Featherweight Protective Primer: Tatcha’s Silk Canvas Primer is one of my favorites, so when they came out with this new version it immediately went in my cart for my next order.

Nails Inc NAILKALE – Superfood Base Coat: When my nails are dried out from too much washing or acetone, I swap out for this base coat. My nails are definitely suffering with so much sanitizer exposure at work (and I ran out of this base coat about a month ago), so I’ll be stocking up on this!
Recent Finds
Kora Organics Noni Glow Body Oil: I’m obsessed with everything Kora Organics lately, and I know this will be a summer staple for me. I leave the bottle in my shower, and I apply a few pumps to my body as soon as I’m done drying off. It sinks in quickly and makes my skin a bit glowy in addition to extra moisturized.
I Want To Try
St Tropez Self Tan Purity Vitamins Bronzing Water Body Mist: Every summer I start looking at self tanners, thinking this is the year I’ll use them consistently. This mist looks easy to apply and St Tropez has just the right golden glow for my skin tone. There’s also a matching face product (St Tropez Self Tan Purity Vitamins Face Serum), and don’t forget a Tanning Mitt for streak-free application.

Hi!
I love the olaplex bonding oil as well! Wondering if the Hair perfector no. 3 is pregnant/breastfeeding safe?
Thank you!
You don’t need to worry about it, it’s like a conditioner in that you apply it only to the hair shaft, which can’t absorb anything. So don’t worry about it!
