Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Review

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Review

One of my recent splurges during the Sephora VIB sale was the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. It has been sitting in my cart for months, and I full admit that I can’t remember what made me originally put the mist in my cart, but I’ve been reading about it a lot! This mist seems to be pretty much everywhere. Yes, it is a favorite of the Kardashians, but also just about every other mention I’ve seen online says that the Tatcha mist is amazing.

As I’ve gotten older, my previously oily/combination skin has been getting drier. I think my skin is dry, with some mid-day shine in the t-zone now. Which means that I’ve been slowly swapping out to gentler cleansers, increasing the strength of my moisturizer and looking for other ways to keep my skin hydrated. My new favorite thing is the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, which I will be buying in bulk. If they sold this mist at Costco, I would be buying it there.

Luminous Dewy Skin Mist can be used before or after you’ve applied your makeup. What I’ve been doing is misting my face as soon as I wash my face, then applying moisturizer or BB cream immediately. I only use about 4-5 sprays, mostly concentrated in the middle of my face.

Once my makeup mostly done (aka- after face products and my shadows, but I wait to apply mascara until after the mist), I’ll spritz another 1-2 times if my skin felt a little drier than usual or I want to be a little more dewy that day. Tatcha’s mist seems finer to me than other makeup mists, and it doesn’t mess up my makeup at all.

You can buy Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist at Sephora, I bought this as part of the Tatcha Bestsellers Set

I heard (or read) somewhere that this mist is basically a diluted form of Tatcha’s moisturizer (I’m assuming the silk cream, but honestly don’t remember). I think it’s great for layering and I swear I saw it and the Tatcha sheet mask last time I visited costco.com!

Is this mist safe during pregnancy?

I would avoid it due to the licorice root extract
